JPIT, the Joint Public Interest Team of the Methodist, Baptist, United Reformed and Church of Scotland, has published a very useful guide for those who are considering responding to the government's consultation on its New Plan for Immigration, which has been roundly condemned by refugee organisations and church groups across the UK as profoundly unjust and draconian.

The guide offers a simple and easy to understand explanation of the consultation, so that everyone is able to respond if they wish.

Deadline for responses is May 6th.
