Barbara Roche, Chair of Praxis, writes in the introduction, "Since its establishment in 1983, Praxis has
always adapted its services to the changing needs and challenges faced by migrant communities. In 2018 we launched a new three-year strategy focused on responding to the problems we see through our frontline casework as increasing numbers of migrants in the UK are excluded from mainstream services, either as a deliberate result of policy (the ‘hostile environment’) or because of bureaucratic errors. Our strategic priorities and how we are meeting them are highlighted and illustrated throughout this report.
